Rosh Hashanah marks the start of the Jewish New Year. Beginning at sundown, it is a two-day holiday that marks the beginning of the High Holy Days, a ten-day period of introspection and repentance. It is a time for reflection on one's past deeds and a spiritual renewal for the year to come.
