Are you interested in receiving a fellowship to attend graduate school abroad, teach English in another country, or pursue an independent creative/research project overseas? Register for the Fulbright Info Session!
This info session is open to Simmons alumnae/i, graduate, and undergraduate students across all years and disciplines. Fulbright is an international grant program that aims to foster mutual understanding between the U.S. and nations across the globe. In support of this mission, they provide grants for individually designed study/research projects and for English Teaching Assistant programs.
The info session will cover the Program’s history, eligibility, award types, award benefits, and application components and tips. After the general presentation, participants will be invited to a breakout room with the Simmons Fulbright Program Adviser, who will cover institution-specific details such as campus resources, deadlines, and next steps.
The 2026-2027 Fulbright application cycle opens in early April 2025. Alumnae/i, graduate, and undergraduate students applying to the Fulbright through Simmons University must submit a draft of their materials for campus review by August 4, 2025. Please notify the Office of Research and Fellowships at [email protected] of your intention to apply and to set up an initial appointment.
