Simmons University works with education technology provider 2U to support the delivery of select online degree programs. This approach supports Simmons’ commitment to delivering high-quality academic programs that prepare students to excel as scholars, professionals, and leaders.
Simmons is responsible for all academic aspects of its online programs, including admissions, curriculum and instruction, assessment, faculty and instructor hiring, financial aid and tuition, graduation requirements, program size, and the issuance of credentials and transcripts.
2U supports select program delivery with services including: marketing and recruitment, application processing, and enrollment specialists who guide prospective students through the application process. It also provides student coaching, faculty support, LMS customization and 24/7 technical support, assistance with clinical or field placement requirements where applicable, and support for state authorization and licensure compliance.
