Simmons online DSW program admission requirements
To align ourselves with the CSWE DSW accreditation guidelines, the program will be accepting students with two years post-MSW experience as of January 2027.
All applicants to the DSW program at Simmons must have an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, a GPA of at least 3.0 or higher in their MSW coursework, and three years of relevant post-MSW work experience. Submissions must include:
- An online application
- An up-to-date résumé
- Transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation
- A statement of professional and education intent
