Digital Signage

Digital signage offers numerous benefits, including increased engagement, enhanced brand awareness, and cost-effective communication. Digital signs allow for dynamic content updates, real-time information delivery, and targeted messaging direct to people in a certain location on campus. The Office of University Marketing and Communications (UComms) manages the digital signs on the Simmons campus.

Digital Sign Guidelines

Members of the community are welcome to request the placing of content on the screens located throughout campus, with the exception of the screens in Centennial Hall and the President's office.

  • Submit all digital signage requests to [email protected].
  • Please allow 48-72 hours after your signage is sent for it to be posted. We encourage you to submit your signage well in advance of your event, both to allow time for people to see your signage, but also in case we need to ask you to make revisions to the signage before it is posted.
  • To access Adobe Express digital signage templates, use your Simmons email address to login and then select “Company or School Account,” sign-in on the Simmons login screen, and then select “NERCOMP – SIMMONS UNIVERSITY” and not the “Simmons University” option. If you choose to make your own digital signage without the templates, it must still be properly branded with the Simmons logo, fonts, and colors and sized to 1920×1080.
  • Signage promoting an event may be posted for no more than two weeks leading up to the event.
  • Any other signage may stay up for up to two weeks. Some exceptions for longer-term messaging, such as booking study rooms or notices related to campus health may stay on the screens for longer periods of time, at the discretion of UComms.

Sign locations with specific guidelines

  • The Centennial Hall digital signage screens are managed by the team in UComms and are used to display certain University-wide events and messaging, and to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, faculty, staff, and alumnae/i, as determined by UComms.
  • The President’s Office digital signage screens are managed by UComms and are used to display messaging and priorities as determined by UComms and the Office of the President.
