Group Study Rooms

The library has 20 group study rooms for student use. Each can accommodate up to eight students. Group study rooms can be reserved for three-hour blocks up to 28 days in advance using the Library Study Room Reservations system. Booking in advance is recommended to ensure availability.

Low-Sensory Study Room

A study room has been designated for students with different sensory preferences. The room features reduced lighting and is designed to minimize distraction. Reserve the Low Sensory Study Room.

Library Zones

The Simmons University Library offers distinct zones to support both quiet and collaborative student work. The ground floor and the 24-Hour Silent Study Room are quiet zones. The first floor is designated for group work and active learning. The Library Reading Room and the Archives Reading Room provide additional quiet study spaces when available.

24-Hour Silent Study Room

The 24-Hour Silent Study Room is open daily to Simmons University ID holders and is intended for ultra-quiet work.
