The Unbound Blog Looks into Artist Residencies at Archives, Public, and Academic Libraries

In January of this year, Simmons College hosted an IMLS-sponsored conference, “Envisioning Our Information Future and How to Educate for It.” Notable librarians and information professionals conversed about future paths for the field. One popular subject of discussion was the potential for artist residencies to become more common in information institutions. In response, Unbound has investigated case studies of successful artist residencies across various types of libraries and archives. This series of posts covers projects at The University of Technology, Sydney, the Madison Public Library in Madison, Wisconsin, and the City of Portland Archives & Record Center in Portland, Oregon.
