Cyndee Landrum, a student in the Simmons University Library and Information Science PhD, has been named Acting Director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). Landrum, according to the press release, “will lead the agency until a new director is nominated by the President and confirmed by the U.S. Senate.”
