JWLI Tenth Anniversary Celebration

Come celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Japanese Women's Leadership Initiative (JWLI)

Please join us for a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of the Japanese Women’s Leadership Initiative (JWLI), a partnership between the Fish Family Foundation and Simmons College that has enriched and benefited individuals. JWLI empowers Japanese women to become leaders and to make positive social change and innovation in Japan.

The event will feature two JWLI alumnae, Tomoe Yamada and Kiyono Yagami,who will share the impact has had on their work in Japan, and the President of Simmons College, Helen Drinan, who will discuss the connection of the JWLI to the mission of Simmons and the impact of sustained philanthropy.

JWLI Co-Founder and FFF Board Member Atsuko Toko Fish will share the movement of JWLI from dream to reality, and recognize a number of community partners and host organizations who contributed to its success. The event will be moderated by Patricia Deyton, Academic Director and organizing partner of JWLI at Simmons.

The program will include a graduation ceremony for the four 2016 JWLI Fellows.

Refreshments and a wine bar will be provided. Discounted parking tickets will be available for the Simmons parking garage. 

This event is hosted by The Gender for Gender in Organizations at the Simmons School of Management.
