Outside Scholarships

The Financial Aid Office encourages students to seek outside scholarships through online resources. Your financial aid officer is here to assist you with any questions that you might have along the way.

At Simmons, we always apply your outside scholarship to your unmet need. If your need is already met we pledge to use additional resources to reduce loans first, and then self-help awards like work-study, before reducing institutional funding. Your financial aid officer can provide more information about how outside scholarships will fit into your financial aid award.

Undergraduate students should contact their state's board of higher education regarding application and eligibility requirements for any available state scholarships.
