Setting Up Your Account

Students and Employees Please Note:

  • The Parking Office does not sell daily parking passes. You need to have a parking account to receive the discounted parking rate.
  • Misuse of your parking account could result in the loss of your parking privileges.
  • Read the Simmons parking regulations before proceeding with your purchase.
  • Use the same Simmons ID to tap in and out of the garage otherwise you will experience problems at the exit gate.
Commuter Students

Step 1 - Check that you meet the eligibility criteria for the parking product you would like to purchase.

Step 2 - Create a parking account.

If you do not create a parking account you will not be able to receive the discounted student rate.

Step 3 - Wait for the confirmation e-mail that your purchase has been approved by the Parking Office.

Step 4 - Use your Simmons ID to enter and exit the garage by tapping at the entry and exit gates.

Please allow 1-2 business days for your request to be processed.

Faculty and Staff

Step 1 - Check that you meet the eligibility criteria for the parking product you would like to purchase.

Step 2 - Create a parking account.

If you do not create a parking account you will not be able to park at Simmons.

Step 3 - Wait for the confirmation e-mail that your purchase has been approved by the Parking Office.

Step 4 - Use your Simmons ID to enter and exit the garage by tapping at the entry and exit gates and proceed immediately to the Palace Road garage.

Please allow 1-2 business days for your request to be processed.

Any temporary employee, who is working less than three months, will not be granted parking privileges.

Contractors
Step 1

Sponsored contracted employee must meet the eligibility criteria.

Step 2

Contractor's site manager must submit a parking request to the Simmons representative, who manages the vendor relationship, at least two weeks prior to the individual's start date.

Step 3

Simmons representative, who manages the vendor relationship, must fill out the online parking request form for the sponsored contracted employee.

Step 4

The Simmons sponsor, Contractor's site manager and the sponsored contracted employee will receive a confirmation email that the parking request has been approved by the Parking Office.

Step 5

Contractor and/or vendor must pay in advance for the entire expected term of the contracted temporary employee, or, in the case of full year employee, pay the full 12 months due June 15th effective July 1st of each year. Payments can be made effective at the Parking Office.

Step 6

Contracted employee can start using his/her Simmons ID to enter and exit the garage by tapping at the entry and exit gates and proceed immediately to the Palace Road garage.
