International Students

Welcome! Simmons admission counselors review each student's application to learn not only what you have accomplished, but also your potential for growth. We look for a strong academic record, a well-written college essay, good test scores (TOEFL, SAT 1, ACT, or IELTS), and evidence of co-curricular activities. Simmons accepts International Baccalaureate (IB) credits. International students may qualify for several merit awards, which are based on outstanding academic record and co-curricular activities.

Visa Information

Simmons admission counselors will help you with the process and paperwork to meet U.S. immigration requirements. All international students need an INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) Form I-20 in order to obtain an F-1 student visa to study in the United States. International students must submit a Declaration of Finances Form in order to receive a Form I-20.
