Simmons Women in Public Service

Apr 16, 2019
5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Management and Academic Building, 5th Floor

Join us for a panel discussion with different generations of successful Simmons alums!

Recent events remind us that government cannot function without a non-partisan, professional and dedicated civil service delivering services to the American people.  The Simmons community needed no reminder, and for many students, public service remains an appealing career option.  Often, however, students are unsure what public service actually entails, or how to match their specific interests to available opportunities.

Simmons graduates today work at all levels of government — local, state, and federal — and in all branches of government.

Speakers on the panel include: Ambassador Harriet L. Elam-Thomas ’63, 0HD, Kathleen Morenski ’87, Amanda Bibbins ’17
