Program Key

Undergraduate Programs

Majors and Minors
With the support of your academic advisor and faculty instructors, you’ll identify your strengths, interests, values, and goals to discover a fulfilling path of study and career course. You may mix and match majors and minors to create programs as unique as you are.

Accelerated
Shorten your time to a graduate degree by taking one of our accelerated undergraduate to graduate programs. You’ll achieve a graduate degree in fewer years, resulting in less cost to you.

• 3+1 programs allow you to complete both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in as little as 4 years.

• 4+1 and up programs allow you to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in as little as 5 years.

• 3+3 programs allow you to attain both a bachelor’s and a doctorate degree in as little as 6 years.

Dual Bachelor of Science Program
Our 3+2 program allows you to earn both a bachelor’s in a STEM field and a bachelor’s in Engineering by completing three years of course work at Simmons, followed by two additional years at one of our partner universities.

Graduate and Professional Programs

Dual Degree Programs
Dual degree study allows you to combine programs requiring intensive theoretical study with programs that offer practical applications of that theory. Both degrees will be conferred at the same time once program requirements for both programs are completed.

Graduate Certificates
A graduate certificate, also sometimes called a professional certificate, is an educational credential for students seeking certifications in a selected industry.

• Professional certificates introduce you to specialized skills and frameworks that you can use to advance your career.

• Post-master’s certificates allow you to pursue a program of advanced experiential study beyond a master’s degree.

Note
Degree acronyms can be found on the Registrar’s website.
