- School of Social Work
I received my MSW from the Simmons School of Social Work. I pursued my interest and passion for community-based work through The Home For Little Wanderers' Safe at Home program. For the last several years, I was a Clinical Coordinator for Safe at Home, supervising a team providing home-based therapy through the state's CBHI wrap-around model. I specialized in clinical work with multi-stressed families and trauma/crisis intervention. I supported and helped develop the program's Intern Enrichment program and served on the agency's Human Rights Committee and Clinical Forum. My connection and commitment to community based work continues in different capacities, recently as a foster care reviewer for DCF in Boston. In my spare time, I enjoy experimenting with gardening and look for opportunities to cultivate connections between horticulture and community. I continue to maintain a small private practice.
