Michelle Brown-Droese is a social entrepreneur lecturer with a specialty in minority-owned and woman-owned small business, diversity initiatives, and business modeling. She holds a BA in economics and politics, and a marketing MBA. Brown-Droese speaks Spanish and English and has over 25 years of experience working in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors, including writing winning grants in excess of $12 million. She has developed the ownMBA and delivers onsite and online business workshops to minority and women small business owners across the world, teaching them to utilize "big business tools" to help them succeed and remain competitive. Brown-Droese is passionate about the success of diverse business initiatives, both directly through the thousands of women and minority small business owners she has instructed as well as through the larger companies and organizations committed to the diverse small business sector.
