About Me

Lindsey Baughman-Dalton, MSW, LICSW is a faculty member in the [email protected] Field Education Department within the School of Social Work. Prior to joining Simmons, she worked with children and families for 10 years. She provided clinical social work services in a variety of settings including an inpatient psychiatric facility, a college counseling center, and in community based mental health. Most recently, she worked as a clinical coordinator for an in home therapy program where she supervised a team of clinicians and served as a field instructor for social work students. This is where she discovered her interest in teaching and mentoring.

Lindsey has experience providing training in cognitive behavioral approaches, collaborative practices, and she supported the introduction of an evidence based trauma treatment model. Additionally, she worked in student organizing and she volunteered as a group facilitator for a parent support group. Lindsey received he Masters of Social Work degree from Boston College in 2008.
