About Me

Dawn Stahura is a Research and Instruction Librarian for the Social Sciences and the Zine Librarian at Simmons University. She joined the Beatley Library team in Spring 2014. Prior to this she worked as a Research Librarian at Wellesley College and as a reference assistant at Purdue University. She has a B.A. in Creative Writing, and an A.A.S in Business Management. She earned her M.L.S from Indiana University in 2009.

At Simmons, Dawn teaches a variety of library instruction sessions throughout the semesters as well as conducts research appointments with students and faculty. She leads several zine workshops and social justice activities across campus. She also brings the therapy dogs to the Beatley Library at the end of every semester.
