About Me

Colette Dieujuste, is a Professor of Practice, at Simmons College department of nursing. Ms. Dieujuste received her B.S. in nursing from Columbia Union College, her MSN from Boston College, and Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Medical school. She has taught across the undergraduate curriculum in a number of courses at Simmons College.

Ms. Dieujuste has practiced as a staff Nurse in Labor and Delivery. Her clinical expertise is in the area of perinatal and obstetrical nursing and she has been the Perinatal/Child Clinical Nurse Specialist and was MA. Section Chair for Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing from 2011-2015. She publishes in 2016, The Concept of stigma in mental illness as applied to Haitian Americans. International Nursing Review.
