About Me

Dr. Heath joined the physical therapy faculty at Simmons University in 2014. Dr. Heath has been a physical therapist since 2003 and has practiced in several outpatient orthopedic clinics. Prior to her current position, Dr. Heath served as the Director of Clinical Education at Temple University where she completed her PhD in Educational Psychology. Dr. Heath was fortunate to have been a part of the inaugural cohort of Fellows completing the APTA’s Educational Leadership Institute in 2011. She is an active member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and the Simmons University Representative to the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy.
