International Students
International students are an important part of the Simmons student body, and come from more than 53 countries, reflecting the diversity of our campus.
Simmons provides an exciting university experience in America's "Best College" town while preparing you for lifelong career success.
Access to competitive internships, student-faculty research projects, and dedicated career counseling beginning students' freshman year means that the majority of our students secure employment or enter graduate school within one year of graduation.
Our beautiful, tree-lined campus is located less than five kilometers from the excitement of the Boston Harbor, across the street from some of the nation's top teaching and research hospitals, and in walking distance of world-renowned museums, restaurants, and theaters. Yet, Simmons provides a safe and quiet retreat in the middle of the city's bustle.
Visit Simmons—Virtually!
While it may not be possible for you to visit Simmons College in person, we encourage you to take our virtual tour to get a sense of our campus. Simmons is located in the historic Fenway neighborhood of Boston, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, shops, and nightlife.
We also offer interviews and information sessions via Skype, allowing you to speak face-to-face with an admission counselor or current student. To request a Skype or phone interview simply contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission.
Support for International Students
Simmons college is committed to providing the best university experience for all of its students, but we provide extra support for international students who may be adjusting to a new culture, educational system, and city.
Once at Simmons, our International Student Advisor assists with visa issues, employment, and connects international students to the College community through a specialized orientation, a welcome reception, and exciting field trips and events throughout the year.

Financial Aid Options
While Simmons College does not offer need-based financial aid to international students, we do award scholarships based on academic achievement, which range from $5000 - full tuition. Scholarships are awarded without a separate application, with the exception of the Gilbert & Marcia Kotzen Scholarship. Those in need of financial assistance can visit International Financial Aid page to learn more about loans and scholarships specifically for international students.
