Dotson Bridge and Mentoring Program Contributes to Nursing Success
The Dotson Bridge and Mentoring Program was started in 2008 with a $2 million gift from Phyllis Nickerson Dotson '62, and her husband, George S. Dotson. This year, their additional $2 million pledge will continue the impact of the program. The program provides mentoring and support to multicultural students studying nursing. The NCLEX-RN licensing exam pass rate among program-eligible students has increased to 94 percent since the program's inception.
