Philosophy of Mind

Prereq.: One course in either PHIL or PSYC or instructor consent. Explores the nature of human consciousness and the self. Focuses on the views of contemporary philosophers, psychologists, and Eastern religious thinkers; readings include classical authors such as Descartes as well as contemporary philosophers such as Daniel Dennett.
