Upper Lev Research in Cog Dvl

Prereq.: PSYC 235 and consent of the instructor. A survey of the tools psychologists use to investigate age-related changes in cognition. Topics include measurement, research design (e.g., experiments, quasi-experiments, and observations), and the communication of research findings. Both practical and ethical issues related to the use of children as research participants are also discussed. Includes a laboratory component. Turner.
