"There are many things that I loved about my undergraduate experience at Simmons, but one of the highlights was the strong community of female scientists. In my studies at Simmons, both in the classroom and the laboratory, I discovered a great love for research, and gained a solid background in both the sciences and humanities. This background prepared me well for my application to and acceptance into medical school. I am now a 3rd year student at the Northwestern University Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP), where I am earning my M.D. and Ph.D." — Jessica Queen, S'05.
Advising services are available to all Simmons undergraduates and alumni throughout your years at Simmons and the health professions schools application process. First-year students and sophomores are invited to meet with an academic advisor in the Office of Academic Advising & Support, while juniors, seniors and alumni are invited to meet with their faculty advisor.
