Politics of Exclusion
4 sem. hrs. Examines the changing patterns of incorporation of ethnic and racial minorities in American politics in the post-civil rights era. Considers the relationships between racial minority groups, levels of representation, levels of political participation, the possibilities for coalition-building between racial minority groups, and economic and social policy issues that affect minority and ethnic politics.
