Environmental Ethics

4 sem. hrs. Explores philosophical issues underlying environmental and ecological controversies. Issues include whether the value of a human being is fundamentally different from the value of other living species or of the environment itself, what role consumer goods and services play in a good life, and whether environmental consciousness conflicts with a good life.
