Cell Biology
4 sem. hrs. Prereq.: BIOL 113; BIOL 218 or 221; CHEM 111 or 113; CHEM 112 or 114; or consent of instructor. Presents a thorough study of the cell, including structure, function, cell diversity, and methods of analysis. Examines major biochemical pathways of the cell in relation to particular organelles. Laboratory exercises introduce a wide range of techniques used by cell biologists.
