About

Marianne Williams joined the SNHS faculty in 2014 as a full time Associate Professor of Nursing Practice.  Prior to joining the faculty full time, she served as a clinical adjunct instructor and a Dotson Bridge and Mentoring Program mentor. She has shown commitment and dedication to all students by mentoring, tutoring and being an academic supporter to all students especially students in need. She has 18 years of nursing experience in general medicine, home care and drug and alcohol rehabilitation nursing.

Marianne maintains an active clinical practice at Massachusetts General Hospital.  She also believes strongly in the mind body soul connection.  She is a Reiki (Therapeutic touch) Master/Teacher and maintains an independent practice in alternative healing.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Honor Society of Nursing, Epsilon Chapter, and a member of The New England Regional Black Nursing Association.
