About

Terry Davies, MSN, ANP-BC, CNE is a Clinical Assistant Professor. An expert clinician, she has taught part time in the undergraduate nursing program for many years until she joined the Simmons faculty full time in 2004 to teach medical surgical nursing. Ms Davies is the coordinator and advisor for the 18 months Dix Accelerated Nursing Students. She also coordinates Leadership and Management for the undergraduate and accelerated nursing students.

Her clinical practice as a board certified nurse practitioner is in the Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center at Boston Medical Center. She is a strong advocate for diverse, underserved, vulnerable populations. Ms Davies was awarded the SNHS Teacher of the Year in 2005. She is co-chair of the School of Nursing Curriculum Committee and serves on the School of Nursing Academic Review Board. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and is on the Board serving as Secretary. Currently she is enrolled at University of Massachusetts pursuing advanced graduate studies as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
