Sustainable Supply Chain
4 sem. hrs. Examines sustainability and corporate stewardship in management of the supply chain. Being sustainable is now a source of competitive advantage and a matter of corporate survival. Sustainable Supply Chain Management (SSCM) provides five potential benefits for companies: increased productivity, opportunity for innovation and competitive advantage, risk minimization from supply chain interruptions, protection and enhancement of a company's brand reputation, and participation in sustainability indexes, which encourages outside investment.
