The Renaissance

4 sem. hrs. Provides a thematic exploration of the social, political, and cultural developments in Renaissance Europe. Pays close attention to the cultural and intellectual developments of the period (ranging from civic humanism to painting, literature, and architecture). Makes use of Boston-area museums.
