World Hist. Perspec. on 9/11

4 sem. hrs. Contextualizes September 11th within a world historical framework. Examines the event's relationship to the late Cold War, to issues in the Middle East, and to other world events. The class will also explore the significance of 9/11 as a new historical beginning and the politics of the war in Iraq.
