The Critical Lens

4 sem. hrs. Prereq: ENGL 195 recommended. Introduces students to the main schools of theory in cinema and media studies, including auteur theory, narrative, semiotics, psychoanalysis, Marxism, feminism, queer theory, critical race theory, reception theory, third and accented cinemas.
