Social & Emotional Development
Prereq.: PSYC 235 and consent of the instructor. Offers in-depth study of normative development and individual differences in childrens social and emotional lives within the context of current theory and research. Topics include emotion regulation; temperament; attachment theory; the role of parents, peers, and siblings in the socialization process; and cultural and gender influences on development. Turner.
