Research Interests
Jane began her teaching career in Natick, MA where she was a resource room teacher working with junior high school students with special needs. Her resource room was chosen as exemplary model by the Council for Exceptional Children and as a result, she was asked to present at the 1979 National Convention in Dallas, Texas. She enjoyed her time in Natick and after a time away from education she returned to work as a supervisor for Simmons College in 1993. She has been teaching full time at Simmons since 1995. Her area of highest interest is in the area of working with children with emotional and behavioral disorders.
