Women in the World Econ
4 sem. hrs. Prereq.: ECON 100 and 101 or consent of the instructor. A reading seminar that addresses the theoretical and practical implications of considering global economic development issues and programs from the standpoint of women and/or gender. Examination of the feminization of work, along with strategies for contending with the many challenges and opportunities globalization presents to women in communities across the world.
