What most communications students refer to as their "second home" is our communications lab. The lab is equipped with 35 iMac computers.

We put all this technology to good use in our dynamic courses. If you decide to try out Professor Bob White's animation class, you will learn the basics of Poser and Lightwave. There's also the choice of Professor Judith Aronson's graphic design classes which use QuarkXPress, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. The lab houses scanners and several printers that aid in presentations and class work.

Our Ongoing Commitment

The Communications Department is committed to the effective use of technology in our curriculum and have two staff members to ensure the quality of the student's experience in the communications labs. You can contact the communications lab staff by emailing commlab@simmons.edu.
