Listen Live Now!

After more than five years of preparation, a major construction project and the installation of a brand new studio, Simmons College Radio is finally a reality!

The newly built radio studio, located on the 3rd floor of Lefavour Hall in the Communications Department has the capacity to stream live programming onto the Internet 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Simmons College Internet Radio is accessible to the general public in addition to students, alumnae/i, faculty, and staff. SCR will be an outlet for the entire community, with shows generated by students, staff, and faculty.

There has been campus-wide interest in getting involved and Simmons College Radio will feature a wide variety of programming. You can expect just about every genre of music and we're also planning specialty shows with Academic Departments at Simmons College and other members of the staff and administration.

The new Simmons College Radio is a member of IBS as well as an affiliate of the IBS/Backbone Student Radio Network, the first national network of college and high school Internet broadcasters. Simmons College Radio will be available to anyone around the world through our website and through Apple iTunes.

If you would like to start your own show on SCR, or would like more information, please email simmonsradio@gmail.com.
