Thermodynamics & Kinetics
Prereq.: CHEM 226, PHYS 113, and MATH 121. Treats in detail the states of matter and the laws of thermodynamics (with applications to chemical and phase equilibria, and electrochemistry) and reaction kinetics and mechanisms. Laboratory studies once a week emphasize the application of concepts developed in the lectures. Kaplan.
