Biology of Women
4 sem. hrs. Not a prerequisite for further courses in the department. Considers biological factors that contribute to sex identification and the role of women in contemporary society. Emphasizes the genetic, developmental, anatomical, and physiological differences between the sexes and the behavioral consequences of those differences. Includes lecture and laboratory sessions.
