Molecular Biology

4 sem. hrs. Prereq.: CHEM 225 and BIOL 225 or consent of the instructor. Examines gene structure and function; regulation of DNA, RNA, and protein synthesis; the control of gene expression; and the use of recombinant technology as an investigative tool. Includes lecture and laboratory sessions.
