Mozart: The Man & His Music

4 sem. hrs. Not offered in 2012- 2014.] Focuses on Mozart's life and music primarily by studying his compositions. Develops an understanding of the structure of the music as well as Mozart's relationship with 18th century Vienna. Discusses the effect of the Enlightenment upon the aristocracy, the church, and the musician.Requires no previous background in music. Slowik.
