To Formally Drop a Course
Complete an add/drop form and return to the Registrar's Office in C-210, or via fax at 617-521-3144. Make sure to get all necessary signatures before submitting.
Policies for Dropping a Course
For Six to Nine Week Courses

| 5/25/12 | 7/6/12 | Last day to drop a course without receiving a grade of "W." |
| 6/1/12 | 7/13/12 | Last day to drop a course. A grade of "W" will be assigned after 5/25/12 (Summer Session I) or 7/6/12 (Summer Session II). Except: GSLIS students and SSW students. More details » |
| After 6/1/12 | After 7/13/12 | Undergraduate students must request approval from the Administrative Board. Complete a Petition to the Administrative Board and an add/drop form, including signatures of your instructor and advisor. Return the signed forms to the Registrar's Office in C-210. |
| After 6/1/12 | After 7/13/12 | Graduate students must obtain instructor and advisor/program director signatures on an add/drop form. -OR- Graduate students must have their instructor and advisor/program director email consent@simmons.edu. Except GSLIS students. More details » |

Non-attendance in a class does not constitute withdrawal. Make sure you formally drop the course.
