Health Information Management
The understanding of technology cannot reside only within an information systems division. This course introduces participants to key components of IT, including the kinds of information systems that are used, the way decisions are made about new system technologies and vendors, and how new systems are implemented. This course is a blend between concepts and practical problems facing healthcare organizations related to the acquisition, use, and management of information technology, to assure safe delivery of quality care in an affordable manner.
