Orientation Leaders

Orientation Staff

Orientation is ran through the Office of Student Leadership and Activities, comprising of professional staff and orientation leaders. An Orientation Leader (OL) is an upperclass student who is here for you to make the transition to Simmons as easy as possible. They can answer your questions about what it means to be a Simmons student, direct you to resources that will help your transition, and help you connect with other students.

You will meet your Orientation Leader at Summer Orientation and keep in touch over the summer. You will be reunited with them during Fall Orientation. If you are not able to attend Summer Orientation your Orientation will be in touch with you over the summer, and then you will meet them when you come to campus in the Fall. Incoming transfer students will be matched with an OL who was also transfer student.

We have a fantastic team of Orientation Leaders this year who are all very excited about welcoming you to campus!
