Welcome to the Simmons family! We are delighted that your student has decided to attend the College and join the community this year. We know that you will continue to play an important role in your student's education, and we are committed to providing you with the resources and information you need to support their endeavors.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our 1 day Family Orientation, concurrent with your student's Summer Orientation Monday, June 20th or Saturday, June 25th. We look forward to partnering with you as parents and family members to help your student have a successful first year at Simmons.
Please read below for some important information.
- Check-in is between 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Monday and Saturday morning and will end around 3:00 p.m.

Saturday, September 3rd through Tuesday, September 6th will be the dates for Fall Orientation for students. We invite parents and families to join their students for the first day of Orientation - which is move-in day - and to stay for College Welcome and Lunch.
At the conclusion of the luncheon, parents and families will have an opportunity to walk through the Orientation schedule with Associate Dean Susan Antonelli and ask any remaining questions you may have. We will also take a moment to go over some tips for getting through the next few days and to congratulate you on getting your student this far.
