At Simmons we offer services to help our students put their degrees to use and find fulfilling jobs in the field of social work. Throughout the year we offer Career Panels & Networking Receptions and Career Fairs. Career Connections Part I: Workshops, Reception, & Panel

Social Work Licensing Workshops

Simmons College Spring Career Fair
Wednesday, March 27th 2:00-4:00pm in the Linda K. Paresky Conference Center
Sponsored by the Simmons College Career Education Center (CEC), many of the employers from the SSW career fair will also be present. For students unable to attend the March 5th fair, this is a good alternative.
NASW Social Work Licensing Test Prep Course
Saturday, April 20th 9:00am-4:00pm in the Kotzen Room
Prepare to take the LCSW Licensing exam. Registration information at www.nasma.org. Cost: $100 (NASW member), $155 (non NASW member).

Public Loan Forgiveness

This workshop presented by Dan Forster, Associate Director of Financial Services, will explain the Public Loan Forgiveness for individuals working in non-profits. Learn more about these new programs, which can help you to reduce your monthly loan payments.
