Title: Social Worker/Case Manager
Reports to: Sarah Stewart, M.S.W., Lead Social Worker
Based at: Brockton Police Department
Mandatory Requirements: M.S.W. or other relevant Master's degree in addition to LCSW, LICSW or LMHC plus a minimum of 3 years experience working with gang involved youth. Bilingual preferred in Portuguese or Cape Verdean Creole.
Job purpose: A collaborative program between police officers, social workers and faith-based leaders, established to visit homes of youth who have been previously identified by Safety Task Force, their families, to include siblings, partners, spouse or children. The team meets with both the child and parent/guardian in the home to offer guidance, support, referrals to services, etc.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Evening hours, approximately 5 hours per week
Coordinate weekly with Supervisor - to identify any children who may benefit from teams' intervention.
Prepare the list each week; identify any possible hazards that may be at the address (restraining orders, violent offenders, etc), coordinate priority of visits, and be prepared to give synopsis of situation to rest of team.
Provide list to police officer so that he/she may also look over for possible hazards.
Screen police reports each week to identify any incident reports that may involve children who could benefit from teams' intervention.
Conduct home visits to families on prepared list once per week with rotating team of clergy and officers.
Coordinate any services that may be needed for family (mental/physical health, therapeutic, mentoring, after school activities, etc)
Continuously check-in with families and ensure successful referrals were made. If not identify why and assist family in completing referral.
Coordinate with Lead Social Worker to ensure grant requirements are being met.
At end of night team to meet and debrief to discuss night's events and coordinate follow up plan for each family.

EC Boston, www.ecenglish.com, located in Faneuil Hall, is looking for qualified ESL instructors to teach and chaperone in our exciting Junior Summer Language and Culture Programs held at a local college campus. Our summer program runs from June — August and welcomes students aged 12-17 from all over the world, including Russia, China, Spain, Italy, France and Germany. Students come to EC Boston to improve their English skills and to discover Boston through various after-class activities. We are looking for teachers who are dynamic, enthusiastic, flexible, enjoy working with teenagers, and work well with other teachers. The position includes teaching group classes of international teenagers, as well as accompanying the students on their excursions throughout the city.
The teaching hours are from 9:00am to 12:30pm, Monday — Friday.
The after-class activities generally run from 1:30-4:30pm, Monday — Friday.
There are some weekend and evening activities for which chaperones are needed.
Interested teachers should be able to commit to a minimum of two consecutive weeks during the program, which runs from June 25 to August 10. Positions for several ranges of dates within this timeframe are available, depending upon teacher's availability and preference. Position Functions:
The Leads Assessment Representative (LAR) works with an interdependent Consultation Team. As a member of the Consultation Team the LAR requires professional and confidential communications, excellent interviewing and assessment skills, as well as the ability to understand and work toward the marketing and sales goals of the Agency. Domestic and International travel will be required for up to 8 days every other month by the LAR.
Essential Functions:
As a member of the Consultation Team, the LAR will participate in a portion of a potential client's consultation providing education, as well as pertinent information about our Agency, while assessing the readiness and support systems available to potential Intended Parents.
Post consult, the LAR will continue dialogue and nurture the relationship with a goal of engaging clients to sign with our Agency.
The LAR needs to feel confident that marketing/sales initiatives result in meeting or succeeding goals and quotas.
The LAR will need to provide the Consultation Team and upper level management with weekly/monthly financial projections to ensure goals are on track.
Ensure the Consultation Team records detailed consultation notes into the CRM to provide reports and tracking information on potential clients as well as to ensure seamless transitions of new clients into our program.
Work with the Consultation Team to develop best practices based on current industry patterns and behaviors by creating and managing Agency statistics.
Develop/maintain an active database consisting of client references to provide the Marketing Team for news events, articles, seminars and various marketing initiatives.
Develop brand ambassador communities in global areas where there is critical mass such as alumni, current clients and prospective parents.
Requirements/Qualifications
Education:
MSW or greater
Experience/education in business development, sales, or leads marketing
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience in sales, for-profit institutions and or marketing preferred.
• Experience with tracking activities and reporting activity results: calls, contacts, appointments, and contracts in Sugar CRM or a similar program.
Additional Skills:
• Solid interviewing and assessment skills.
• Understanding of marketing concepts including lead management and nurturing.
• Successful record recording in lead generation into CRM program.
• Ability to be flexible with work patterns to accommodate variance in assignments.
