Clinical Supervisor

Job Description

Oversees placement process, including evaluation, intake and discharge. Hires, supervises, trains, and evaluates all Program Services Coordinators and staff support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develops and implements residential program and oversees clinical services.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews of all Clinical Coordinators and staff support.
  • Establishes liaisons with consulting staff (physicians, psychologist, etc.) and mentors to ensure coordinated service delivery to client.
  • Develops and implements crisis intervention emergency procedures, oversees Utilization Review, Quality
  • Assurance, investigations, internal evaluations and participates in emergency coverage system.
  • Provides individual and family psychotherapy and case management services required.
  • Develops a comprehensive training and development program for clinical staff and mentors.
  • Oversees recruitment, matching, contracting, performance evaluations and reimbursement for mentors.
  • Assesses and assigns intakes. Monitors daily census and any corresponding referral sources.
  • Participates in regularly scheduled management team meetings
  • Assembles program statistics for reporting. Provides necessary documentation for billing and mentor payroll
  • Assists in marketing and public relations activities as assigned
  • Ensures program compliance with all corporate and legal requirements

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education:
Master's degree in Human Service or Rehabilitation Field required

Experience:

  • Three years related experience
  • One year supervisory experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
